Warriors celebrate with hundreds of thousands worth of alcohol
The Warriors beat the Cavaliers in the 2018 Finals. A triumph and great accomplishment to add to their books. So, what better way to celebrate than spend $500,000 on alcohol?
Well, that’s exactly what they did. While fans partied on the streets of downtown Oakland, the Warriors headed across the Bat to a San Francisco nightclub. Teammates started ducking into SoMa’s Harlot around 12:30 a.m., says club owner Michael Nader, and it looks as if the alcohol flowed as freely as Steph Curry’s three-pointers.
The team popped 80 bottles of bubbly, including Moet & Chandon Nectar Rose bottles embossed with the Golden State Warriors insignia. The party was put together in under 12 hours, said Nader, and the entire celebration was obviously contingent upon a Warriors’ win.
As for Green’s champagne showers?
Nader said, “They messed up my CD players with all that liquid.”
It was the Warriors second high priced party in the past five days, as they dropped 400k on champagne after completing their sweep of the Cavs on Friday night.
